Storage and handling conditions for laboratory use, as printed on each certificate of analysis.
On arrival
Inspect the outer packaging and confirm the batch number on the vial matches the certificate supplied. Transfer to the storage condition below.
Storage
Lyophilised material is stored as printed on the certificate for that lot. Protect from light. Avoid repeated temperature cycling; keep material in its original packaging until required.
Retest date
Each certificate carries a retest date rather than an expiry. Material held beyond that date should be re-assayed before use in any work where content matters.
Documentation
Keep the certificate with the lot. Batch numbers are the only reliable link between material and its analysis — look up any batch.
